Step-by-Step Setup
Initial Installation
- Download and install the app from your device's app store
- Open the Jellyfin app for the first time
- Grant permissions when prompted:

SeaFin is streaming-only - content cannot be downloaded to your device. The "Downloads" library refers to server-side content, not device downloads.

Casting to TV Devices
Google Cast / Chromecast Support: SeaFin supports casting to compatible TV devices for big-screen viewing.
Finding the Cast Icon:
- Location: Top-right corner of the app, next to your profile icon
- Appearance: Cast icon (rectangle with WiFi-like symbol)
- Visibility: Only appears when compatible devices are detected
How to Cast:
- Ensure devices are connected to the same WiFi network
- Open SeaFin mobile app and find content to watch
- Tap the cast icon in the top-right corner
- Select your TV device from the list (Chromecast, Google TV, etc.)
- Start playing content - it will appear on your TV
- Use your phone as a remote control
